Membership at the Malakhim website

Members are readers who care.

Membership at Malakh Studios is free, and requires a valid email address for registration through our forums. Please note that certain servers, such as gmail, are not accepted as valid email addresses-- the security and accountability on these servers has not prevented large-scale abuse, and we can't ban them fast enough to keep them out of our forums. It's nothing personal, it's simply a matter of practicality. If you are a past member who has suffered a ban due solely to your email address, email us from a valid address and we will try to verify your identity. If we can, we will happily restore your account. If we can't, we'll at least help you get settled in on your new one.

Membership is not required to view the comic or any of the main content, though some special features are only available to logged-in members. This is mainly to protect our content from vandals, and advertisers who make a habit of using interactive sites to host their messages. Special features are also our way of giving back to the people who keep us motivated with their supportive feedback.

While using the interactive portions of our site you may not conduct any illegal activity, nor any activity in conflict with the rules and guidelines posted in our Rules & Notices section of the member forum. Any activity which is considered illegal in Virginia, United States may be reported to the relevant authorities both in our region and yours once we become aware of it, and we will make every effort to comply with law enforcement. Unauthorized use of any information or access to the Malakhim website to advertise another site or product is prohibited, and we will take measures to stop such advertising immediately upon discovery of it.

Malakh Studios considers your privacy important, and as such will not sell or otherwise disclose your private information to anyone unless in the course of complying with law enforcement or dealing with a difficult disciplinary issue. We do everything we can to protect your information from attack, but we ask you not to put anything too sensitive on your account, just in case! Also, please be aware that personal messages (PMs) will be reviewed by staff any time a claim of harassment or illegal activity is made.

To be logged-in at the Malakhim website, the system must set cookies to keep track of you. If you do not enable cookies, the system may not be able to keep you logged in. These cookies are used only to maintain your session, and are not intended to violate your privacy in any way.
