I just LOVE how so many real physical ailments get pawned off on the idea of 'depression.' Yeah, doc. My body's falling apart on me, I'm tired and sick, and I'm getting really nasty infections all the time, and all you can do is tell me is that the problem is likely genetic and non-fatal. Yeah. Umm... that's pretty depressing.

Depression is a real illness, and causes many real problems. Pawning everything off to depression diminishes people who actually are suffering from it, and makes everyone feel like it's just 'all in their heads'.
